It displays the detail of the loop by which it is helpful during the commissioning and maintenance activities. During the pre-commissioning process, all the loops are checked for connection as per in the diagram. During this process the error in both ends (field and diagram) are identified and respective correction action takes place.
After the commissioning process, all the documents including the loop diagram have to be filed for future reference. After getting approval the it will be very useful during the maintenance process.
