Instrument Calibration Report
All the instruments are tested for their functionality and accuracy after a certain period of time. And the test data are recorded in the instrument calibration report for auditing and similar purposes. The master instrument used for calibration has to be calibrated by an approved organization and the equipment detail along with the expiry detail has to be mentioned properly. The instrument calibration report may get rejected by the higher official if any irregularity arises with the master equipment data.
The calibration of the pressure transmitter is recorded in the above sample, with the help of a hand pump calibrator apply the pressure to the instrument and start the five-point calibration. Undergo both raising and falling calibration procedures, record the reading in the report. And if any error arises during the calibration record the deviation if it under acceptable range. Else correct the error and enter the data.
After completing the calibration procedure the document is submitted to the relevant department for review and approval. Next, the document is filed and stored for future reference.
